It is very embarassing to listen to her answers, but what is worse, that her stupid and irresponsible comments can be very dangerous and escalate the tension. She is obviously below the average level in her overall understanding of economy or foreign policy.

Hey, John Haaf, sorry about your brain, but how about letting women speak for themselves? Thanks, bud.

I agree with John Haaf. Well said.
BTW…Palin doesn’t speak for all women. She’s also not setting women back. She’s a result of John McCain’s hasty, shallow, stubborn decision making.
He’s a stubborn old coot who doesn’t think before he acts. She is all wrong for that job. I hope people realize this before November.

What is left of the smart people in America need to see this interview.
If this woman becomes Vice-President of the United States of America, I need to get a ball-peen hammer and whack myself in the head 6 or 7 times as hard as I can. This way I can understand how anyone would vote for this ticket.

Wow, am I the only one that noticed that Katie Couric acted like a bitch in this interview? I thought the media was at least supposed to ACT impartial on television. . .

John McCain owes the American public an apology. The apology is not only for selecting Sarah Palin for his running mate, but also for insulting the intelligence of at least a majority of American citizens. This goes beyond poor decision making.

Sara Palin has destroyed the public eye of women in politics. Any hope that we have had, is now damaged by her. It is my belief, that any woman that stands by her or believes she is a intelligent and good potential candidate or running mate, demeans themselves as women, and abandons the things we have gained. Now, it will be even more of a struggle for women to be taken serious in politics. No one should support her just because she is a woman. We want a woman in the White House that will be taken seriously, and that actually knows what she is talking about. The Katie Couric interview was an eye opener in my opinion. Katie wasn’t being a bitch, she was just getting to the point like all the other interviewers should have, instead of babying Sara Palin. She wouldn’t allow her to dodge the questions. GOOD. Any other male vice presidential candidate wouldn’t be allowed the pillow to fall back on like Sara Palin has been given.

The Palin interviews have to be disheartening for capable women in any endeavour. While it was humorous, the laughter dies pretty quickly when you remember that she is trying to be Vice President
I was baffled by those women who abandoned their liberal philosophy when Hillary Clinton lost the primary. I’m even more baffled by those whose new allegiance to McCain has been increased by the presence of Sarah Palin.
Sarah Palin = Hillary Clinton; not in my brain.
