In an election season where I have found my blood boiling nearly every day, the "baby mama" bullshit pulled by Fox made me blow my gasket. I did see other feminist bloggers commenting on it, but I was also puzzled by the overall silence of the "traditional" feminist organizations. I think that this election has really laid bare the divisions in the feminist movement, particularly between generations when it comes to the intersection between race and gender. And while I think we have a long way to go, I also think that there is more awareness than there has been in the past amongst a segment of white feminists that things must change, as well as a commitment to make feminism inclusive.

I think that it is a fair statement to say that Michelle Obama looks angry. But let's be honest, she wears the pants in the Obama family and things haven't been too smooth lately on the campaign trail for Barrack. I also love the fact that she caught herself yesterday when she said voters should not vote because "she's cute"..."oh, I mean me".
