We all knew we were in trouble when, upon first hearing about Palin, all the focus was on her quirky interests and unstable home situation as opposed to her political know-how and her potential as a world leader. The issues have been conveniently overlooked for irrelevant personal facts, but it is hard to deny that the country is Palin-crazy. We may despise her, but we just can't seem to stop talking about her. Kudos to the McCain campaign for their sly, despicable move, and may God have mercy on their souls...

The media keeps Palin in the limelight when she should be allowed to fade away on her own. Let us address the issues, not the BS wrench that McCain dishonestly threw into the election by selecting Palin for sensationalism not for qualifications.
