Hi Sharon. I wish I could say I am shocked, but I'm not at all. The bottom line is that Insurance companies are interested in ONE thing and ONE thing only...PROFITS. That is why the only way this problem can ever be truly solved, would be to totally dismantle the insurance companies. The health of this country can not be for sale. Health care can not be for-profit. The insurance companies have single handedly taken the "care" out of health care.

Thanks for commenting Sharon.

No I would not be covered. I have minor arthritis for which I take no medication and receive no treatment. It would cost an insurance company zero dollars yet I am denied insurance due to that. I think people should realize that most people over 40 have a little arthritis, slightly high cholestoral or blood pressure, a little something wrong that will keep you from getting insurance coverage if pre existing conditions are not allowed. Most people are shocked to know I was denied for a little bit of arthritis for which I am receiving no treatment ! Read the fine print.
