I do not believe that she should step down i do believe that since the election began both democratic nominees have lost focus on what the race is all about do not get it misconstrued I am an avid Obama supporter I believe the changes that need to be done in America will only become a reality under his leadership although this will only be the second time I vote for a Presidential election I feel honored that I may have chance to vote for someone as eloquent and phenomenal as Barack Obama...YES WE CAN!!!

Hi Kira. For me it's not just about numbers, it's about everyone feeling they have been able to participate in this important process. And as far as "miracles" go...Some still believe in miracles. I was told it would be a "miracle" if I was ever able to have a child (based on gyn medical problems) - I now have two beautiful children. If I had given up, there would have been no chance for a miracle to happen, and I would be childless. All I am saying is...There is no reason to believe that a miracle couldn't happen...they happen every day. :-)

Along the not wanting to be seen as a racist lines I'd also like to point out that black men were awarded the right to vote in 1870, Women on the other hand couldn't vote untill 1920. A good 50 years afterwards. If history has taught us anyhting, we shouldn't be all that suprised that the novel idea of a woman president is being overshadowed by the idea of a black president. At this rate we wont see a woman president till 2060!

Would anyone dare to suggest that Obama step down if their positions were reversed? Of course not. They would be branded as racists. Now who is playing the racw card!

The suggestion that Clinton step down is not a gender issue, it is based upon the math- which says short of a miracle she can't win this. If she were able to continue without knee capping Obama, far fewer people would call for her to drop out. I'm a 61 year old white woman who desperately wanted to support Clinton, but after seeing the negative divisive campaign that she is running I switched to Obama. I have had enough of Karl Rove politics, I don't need to see those kind of slimy attacks coming from a democrat.

It is not easy to be Hillary. It is not easy being a woman running for a US President. I do believe that she will receive more supports at the end. It is the Hillary's campaign team who needs to think about what Hillary's pluses that are not owned by other candidates? Courage, dignity, and experience!
