		<description>As far as I can tell, this is truly a unique blog in that you post a &lt;i&gt;variety&lt;/i&gt; of viewpoints here. One of the biggest drawbacks of most of the blogs out there is that they simply reinforce one main viewpoint. And generally anyone who comments with a strikingly alternative argument is quickly labeled a &quot;troll&quot; and sent on their way.

Providing this forum where women with a variety of views can interact will, I believe, help women to feel a part of the political system which so often ignores us. And hopefully that feeling of engagement will translate into further involvement in politics at all levels -- from neighborhood associations on up.  Thank you for taking the helm on this, Catherine!</description>
