Ronald Reagan’s Legacy and the GOP

For nearly a month, New York Times’ columnists have been arguing about Ronald Reagan’s legacy (and here), and Republicans and race.
As I read the columns, I thought about the Wednesdays I spent at the weekly meeting of Grover Norquist’s “Leave Us Alone” Coalition. Grover would go on ad nauseam about Reagan and the Ronald Reagan Legacy Project, whose mission is to slap Reagan’s name on anything that doesn’t move.
