Submit A Video To 10 Questions For The Candidates

Morra is asking everyone to participate in the 10Questions Project. You can either make and submit your own video question, or just go over to the site and vote on your favorite questions. This is a great way for “we the people” to really get involved with this campaign.
Even though I’m camera shy, my daughter was brave enough to ask a video question…and now I decided to make one too. I’ll let you know when we post them…probably later today or tomorrow.
Here’s the latest news from our partner 10Questions.com, a great project that seeks to involve millions of voters in prioritizing the questions they want answered, and moving politicians away from sound-bites to in-depth discussion of issues. The videos are good, and I encourage you to watch them, vote, and submit your own!

Popular question topics range from issues relating to fixing the political system (“Is our voting system broken?” from the activist group Why Tuesday? and “Two party system bad?) and issues like the “income-housing gap,” healthcare reform, solar energy, impeachment, and paying down the national debt.
There are only 8 days left to submit your video for round one. I’m doing mine this weekend- I’m going to ask a Voter Mainfesto question about Iraq. Frankly, things like this make me nervous, but I’m going to put my money where my mouth is and speak up. I hope you’ll join me.

I would like to alert all those wanting to reach their candidate to check out Straight2theCandidates.com.
Our set up a) allows you to simply film yourself directly via our
platform with your webcam, b) allows you to address a particular
candidate directly (and not all candidates at once), c) enables you to post/look at the questions by category, d) and does not skew the ranking by indirectly favoring the most recent submissions.
I would invite you to check out the video function in particular, and then send Romney
(or anyone else) a message by clicking “video” once his portal loads.After that, have your friends and colleagues vote the question up in the rankings to make sure it gets to his (or her respective) campaign!
