SCHIP Battle Against Middle Class Children Continues
This is from Fact-esque, on the SCHIP controversy.
The country is facing a health care crisis of historic proportions. The bi-partisan, compromise SCHIP reauthorization legislation is a small step in the direction of helping lower middle class survive it at least as far as their children are concerned. It’s obvious that BushCo is holding these families hostage in order to advance his Kill the Poor and Middle Class agenda as well as to further his quest to remain relevant through the merciful end of his tragic term of office. Right now he’s getting away with it. It’s up to the Dems to be sure the plan backfires and, sadly, up to the people who will have to endure the wait for SCHIP to be reauthorized to find a way to survive.
Call your Congressperson today and tell him/her that you want the current bi-paritisan, compromise SCHIP bill passed unchanged.
