What Is Going On In Pakistan?

I rented the movie “A Mighty Heart” the other night. It was set in Pakistan in 2003 and faithfully recounted the abduction and murder of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl. Anyone who wants to get a closer look as to what it might look and feel like to live in Pakistan must see that movie.
Imagine my surprise, when, the very next day Pakistan is the breaking news story of the week. General Musharraf, to whom the U.S. has given more than $10 billion dollars, has suspended the constitution, declared Marshall law and arrested thousands.
